Norman Bryce Jernigan, age 82 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Norman was born Friday, October 25, 1935 in Manchester, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Aubrey Jernigan and the late Pauline Parker Jernigan.

He was a member of Central Church of Christ and a Veteran of the Korean war serving in the US Army.

Norman is survived by his:
wife of 62 years - Mary Louise Wilson Jernigan
daughter - Karen Jernigan Peppers
grandson - Brandon Bryce Beard
granddaughter - Briana Nicole Jackson
great granddaughter - Henlee Briar Jackson
sister-in-law - Brenda Wilson
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by 6 brothers Aubrey Lamont Jernigan, Charles Edwin Jernigan, Jerry Donald Jernigan, Harold David Jernigan, Thurman Lee Jernigan, and Eric Leighton Jernigan, 3 sisters Geneva Ruth Elrod, Shirley Marlene Lytle, and Betty Carolyn Jernigan, and his in-laws Sterling Brown Wilson, and Janie M. Wilson.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Ben Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Unity Cemetery,

The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Friday, June 22, 2018, and again Saturday 8 AM to 1 PM at the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee.
