Johnnie Faye  Prater
Johnnie Faye Prater, age 71 of Morrison, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee.

Johnnie was born Sunday, December 15, 1946 in Warren County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Richard Dodd and the late Fannie Mae Hill Dodd.

Johnnie is survived by her:
husband - James Prater
daughter - Sherry Lynn Prater
2 sisters - Janie Bailey and husband Ken
Lois Lyle
2 brothers - Robert Dodd
Dickie Dodd and wife Betty
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her 3 sisters Willie Mae Marlow, Juanita Dodd Holder, Margaret Ann Moore, 4 brothers James Clinton Dodd, Joe Milton Dodd, Claudie Brown Dodd, and Herbert Denton Dodd.

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Richard A. Dodd officiating. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Smartt, TN.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, and again Wednesday from 8 to 11 AM at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee.
