Dickie Ray Rogers, age 77 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, June 1, 2018, at his home.
Dickie was born Wednesday, August 14, 1940 in McMinnville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Lester Rogers and the late Virginia Ruth Rigsby.
Dickie is survived by his:
wife - Vivia Lois Rogers
2 sons - Richard Rogers and Andy Rogers Sr. and wife Jaime
daughter - Debra Rogers
2 step-children - Stormy Eutsler, John J. Wilson and wife Angela
7 grandchildren - Andy Rogers Jr., Gideon Rogers, Gabriel Rogers, Azalea Rogers, Alexis Alcorn, Joshua Rigsby,and Andrew Grigsby
2 great grandchildren - Elias Grigsby and Cadence Todd
6 step-grandchildren - Kristen, Kelsey, John Wilson Jr. and wife Melia, Daniel Pulley and wife Tonya, Brittany Pulley, and Alexis Phennessee
7 step-great grandchilden - McKenna, Austin, Alyssa, T.J., Amiyis, Caleb, and Jacob
nephew - Kevin Evans
great nieces - Lacey Sweeney, and Mindy Evans
great nephews - Ethan Evans and Ryan Evans
cousins - Larry Gooch, Judy Gooch, and Mary Barnes
Many other family members and friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, Dickie was preceded in death by his sister Linda Evans.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home located at 415 North Chancery St. McMinnville, Tennessee 37110 with Rex Boles officiating. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, McMinnville, TN.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Monday, June 4, 2018, and again Tuesday from 8 AM to 1 PM at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee.
Veteran Honors will be given by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help with his medical bills.
