Wilma Rose Wilson, age 82 of Rock Island, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at her residence following an extended illness.

Wilma was born Saturday, April 24, 1937 in McMinnville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Wilson and Verline Turner Wilson.

Wilma is survived by her:
daughter - Deborah Rose
3 granddaughters - Amy Giffin and husband Don
Tammy Rose and boyfriend Richard Wheeler
Tanya Martin and husband Marcus
8 great grandchildren - Don Giffin Jr., Austin Johnson, Angel Giffin, Philip M. Sonner, Elijah Watjen, Tehya Hayes, Kyvawna Rose and Myrikal Martin
3 sisters - Carletta Glenn, Elsie Brady, and Grace Harper
brother - Harvey Wilson Jr.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her daughter Nickey, granddaughter Angela May Roush (Rose), 3 sisters Betty Fults, Alene Linhart, and Catherine Snider.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10 AM to 4PM at the Riverfront Park Pavilion in McMinnville.
