Obituary for Terry Scott
Terry Scott, age 51 of Rock Island, Tennessee passed from this life on January 1, 2023 in McMinnville, Tennessee.
Terry was born in Hammond, Indiana on June 17, 1971. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Caldwell of Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Yolanda Scott and daughters, Adara Scott and Gabrielle Scott all of Rock Island, TN; sister, Wanda "Cissie" Lee and brother, Douglas Wimberly both of Scottsburg, IN; twelve nieces and nephews; numerous extended family members and friends also survive.
Mr. Scott was a loving father, husband and friend who loved fishing, kayaking and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed his work with Quantum, where he felt it was more like a family rather than just a job.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023 at New Hope Church in McMinnville, TN.
There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home.
Gardens of Memory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
