Obituary for Sue Gentry Milligan
Sue Gentry Milligan, age 95 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, July 29, 2019.
Sue was born Monday, August 6, 1923 in Cookeville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Beecher Gentry and the late Mary Taylor Gentry.
She graduated from Tennessee Polytechnical University with a degree in Home Economics. She was a member of McMinnville First Presbyterian Church. Over the course of her life she worked as a teacher, secretary, and youth leader in the numerous churches where her husband served as a pastor.
Sue is survived by several nieces, and nephews, and her faithful caregiver, Judie Mifflin.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband Heston Milligan, two brothers Wendall Gentry, and Tom Gentry, five sisters Sophie Gentry, Reba Thompson, Nell Dyer, Oneta Gentry, and Charlesie Crouch.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday August 2nd Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Cookeville, TN.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympthy may be made to the charity of your choice.
