Sibyl Rosalee Bess, 89 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee.
Sibyl was born Wednesday, March 23, 1932 in Smithville, TN the daughter of the late John Martin and the late Nancy K. Young King.
Sibyl is survived by her:
son, Jeffery A. Bess and wife Brenda.
9 grandchildren, Jefferey Goins and wife Leigha, Justin Bess, Tracy Haston and wife Nora, James Haston, Adelia Taylor and husband Steven, Phillip Haston and wife Lacey, Sarah Dillman and husband Danny, Kelly Rose and husband Jerry, Johnny Charles Bess of Florida.
14 great-grandchildren, Connie Haston, Maliki Haston, Treyton Haston, Zachary Haston, Conner Taylor, Lacie Haston, Kacey Haston, Sybil Haston, Chase Haston, Alizabeth Dillman, Danny Dillman, Haleigh Sherlaus, Miranda Bess and Easton Bess.

In addation to her parents Sibyl was preceded in death by her husband Hughie Bess, a daughter Connie Bess, a son, Johnny Steven Bess, four brothers Gorden Martin, Jay Martin, Sterling Martin, R.D. Martin, Chirs Martin, and a sister Robbie Martin.
Funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jeff Vandergriff officiating.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 28 2021from 10Am to 2 PM the time of the service at 2 PM.
Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery McMinnville TN.
The family will receive friends from 10AM to 2 PM at the funeral home.
We ask that masks be worn while in the funeral home, and no food be brought to the funeral home due to Covid.
