Sarah Isabell Mathias, age 96 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital .
Sarah was born Tuesday, January 11, 1927 in Union City, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late William E. and Annie Lee Bohanon Buie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mathias and her son Terry Michael Mathias.
Mrs. Mathias is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Jane Mathias of Springfield, MO; Dan R. and Valerie Mathias of Manchester, TN; grandchildren, Rob Mathias of Manchester, TN; Sherry Mathias of McMinnville, TN; Michael Mathias of Manchester, TN; great-grandchildren, Michael G. Mathias of Clarksville, TN; Johnathan D. Mathias of Manchester, TN; great-great-grandson, Zax C. Mathias of Clarksville, TN; precious caregiver, Helen Mathias of McMinnville, TN; several friends also survive.
She was a member of the Church of God.
An interment was held at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County.
There was no visitation or service at the funeral home.
