Mr. Jimmie Wayne Walker, age 81, of McMinnville, TN, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at decendent's residence in McMinnville, TN.
Jimmie was born Monday, July 29, 1940, in McMinnville, TN. He was the son of the late, LLoyd Walker, and the late, Lela Watson Walker. He was the husband of Ruth Womack Walker.
He was a truck driver for Swann Drugs for 20 years and was a member of Smartt church of Christ, Smartt Station, TN.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Womack Walker, of McMinnville, TN, Barbara Walker Weller and husband, Mark, of McMinnville, TN, Richard Walker and wife, Julie, of Pensacola, Florida, Paul Walker and wife, Sarah, of Morrison, TN, two brothers, Richard Walker and wife, Ann, of Beach Grove, TN, Kenneth Walker and wife, Lillian, of McMinnville TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

A Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery located at 5201 Manchester Hwy. Smartt, Tennessee 37378. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Smartt, TN. Officiated by Steve Hillis.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 27, 2021, and again Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 10 AM TO 2:00 PM at the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home 415 North Chancery Street McMinnville, TN 37110.
