Japeth Brey Gilley, age 19 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Japeth was born Monday, July 30, 2001 in McMinnville, Tennessee, he was the son of Randy Gilley and Jacklyn Driver.

Japeth is survived by his:
son - Jay Wade Miller
mother - Jacklyn Driver and Daniel Dalton
father - Randy Gilley
mother of his child - Tiffany Miller
grandmother - Renee "NaeNae" Driver Breedlove
uncle - Garnett McCormick Jr. and wife Linda
aunt - Donna Turner and husband Charlie
many other family members and friends also survive.

Japeth was preceded in death by his grandfathers Jack Driver and Randell "Tiny" Gilley great grandparents Georgia "Elma" Wilks and Garnett McCormick Sr.

A Funeral service will be held at 2 PM February 12, 2021 at the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Johnathan Womack officiating. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Smartt, TN.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 2 PM on Friday February 12, 2021 at the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home 415 N. Chancery St. McMinnville, TN.

Everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing while at the funeral home. No food should be brought to the funeral home.
