Dovie Mooneyham Walker, age 102 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, November 8, 2021, at her home.
Dovie was born Sunday, March 2, 1919 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John Mooneyham and the late Minnie Dodson Mooneyham.
Dovie is survived by her:
3 sons, Brady G. Walker, Kenneth J. Walker, and Jeff Walker
3 daughters, Shirley Bailey, Evelyne Bryant, and Judy Moore
11 grandchildren
12 great grandchildren
3 great great grandchildren
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Dovie was preceded in death by her husband Alvin J. Walker, son Herchel Walker, and a daughter Loretta Walker Malone
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home located at 415 North Chancery St. McMinnville, Tennessee 37110. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery, McMinnville, TN.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021, and again Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee.
