Deirdra Rena Dodson, age 57 of Altamont, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee.
Deirdra was born Sunday, January 24, 1965 in Smithville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Brenda Mooneyham Boyd and the late Paul Boyd. In addition to her Father, she was preceded in death by her Brother, P.T. Boyd; Uncle, Big Duck Boyd; Cousin, Little Duck Boyd and several other beloved Aunts and Uncles.
Mrs. Dodson is survived by her Husband of 38 years, Eddie Dodson of Altamont, TN; Son, Tony "Rico" Dodson of Tacoma, WA; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Jessica and Ben Merriman of McMinnville, TN; Mother, Brenda Boyd of Altamont, TN; Sister and Brother-In-Law, Paula and Kevin Madewell of Spencer, TN; Brothers-In-Law and Sisters-In-Law, Billy and Barb Dodson, Carl and Michelle Dodson all of McMinnville, TN; Grandchildren, Tyler Dodson of Tacoma, WA, Lonnie, Jude, Samantha, Madison, Kloe and Drew Merriman all of McMinnville, TN; Nephew, Kyler Boyd of Spencer, TN; Nieces, Celia and Maley Boyd, Emily and Lauren Dodson all of McMinnville, TN; Best Friends, Kimberly and David Jordan and family of McMinnville, TN; Special Aunt, Jo Boyd of McMinnville, TN; Several other Nieces, Aunt and Uncles also survive.
She was School Bus driver for many years and a member of the Baptist Church.
There will be a Memorial Service scheduled at a later date.
