Mr. David Wayne Campbell,age , 62 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee of a short illness.

David was born Wednesday, February 18, 1959 in McMinnville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Lillard Campbell and the late Dorothy Muncey Campbell Simmons. He was the husband of Carolyn Claunch Campbell.

David worked as a nurseryman and was a member of Welchland Baptist Church.

David was survived by his wife of 29 years Carloyn Campbell of McMinnville TN. He had one son ,Kelsy Burks and Wife Carla of McMinnville,TN and one daughter Leslie Simmons and husband Michael of Spencer,TN.Two brothers Thomas Campbell of Spencer,TN and Ernest Simmons of McMinnville,TN , and one sister Patricia Fults and husband Ernie of McMinnville,TN.He also had two step sisters, Linda McCormick of McMinnville,TN and Kathy Cantrell of Ohio.

Grandchildren are Haley Burks,Johnathon Burks,Sara Mae Burks,Amy Simmons, Eli Simmons, and one great grandchild Hazel Burks

Preceeded in death by his parents Lillard Campbell and Dorothy Simmons.David also preceeded in death by his two half brothers, Willie and Charles Simmons, and one step brother Tommie Simmons and one step sister Rachel Sowell.

A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Mt Zion Cemetery with Kevin Agro and Mike Adams officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, McMinnville, TN.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Gravside Service.
