Obituary for Dana Dean Rainwater (Roach)
Dana Dean Roach Rainwater, age 54, a Lewisville, North Carolina resident and Warren County, Tennessee native passed away April 12, 2023 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. following a sudden illness.
Dana was born June 1, 1968 in McMinnville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lula Mae Busey and William Lee Roach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Rainwater, aunts and uncles, George Busey, Katie Cantrell, Verbel Roach, Lou Gunner and Mary Cate.
Mrs. Rainwater is survived by her son, and daughter-in-law, Robert and Brittany Roach of Lewisville, NC; brothers, Thomas Roach (Elizabeth), Wray Roach (Donna), George Roach (Kaci) all of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Jack and Ryan Roach of McMinnville, TN; uncle, Clarence Roach of McMinnville, TN; nieces and nephews, Gage Roach, Shayla Roach (Jacob) all of Jamestown, TN; Jaylei Roach of Anchorage, AK; Seth Roach of McMinnville, TN; cousins, Paul, Lou Lou, Billy, Norman, James, Frankie, Laura, Darlene, Patsy, Lisa, Joey, Rickey, Barbara, Wilburn, Donnie, Steve, Connie, Todd, Tasha and Travis, special friends, Charlie Marshall and Stephanie Davis both of Lewisville, NC.
Dana was a very loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She had the most generous heart and couldn't say no to help anyone, she could light up the darkest room with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Dana loved a quite evening with family surrounded by nature listening to classic country music, she greatly enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking meals for her family. Dana left a positive impact on everyone she met and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
A Funeral Service was held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County.
The family received friends 10:00 a.m. until the time of service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
