Chester Louis Richmond, age 92 of Tampa, Florida passed from this life on Sunday, November 25, 2018

He was born Monday, November 8, 1926 in St. Charles, Virginia , he was the son of the late Jim Richmond and Marie Richmond.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 66 years, Reba Richmond of Tampa, his son Larry & wife Sheryl Richmond , Grandsons Ryan & Evan Richmond, all of Tampa, & his Sister, Garlis Rector, of Oak Ridge, TN and an extended list of family, In-Laws, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.

Chester and Reba lived most of their adult life in Laurel , Md. In 2001, at the age of 74 Chester decided to retire and move to McMinnville, TN, where Reba's youngest brother and family were living. They moved to Tampa in 2018 to be with their son and his family.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his sisters Norma Jean Gatlin and Barbara Bauer.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Cornerstone Baptist Church located at 49 Golf Club Dr. McMinnville, Tennessee 37110. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Smartt, TN.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee, and again Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the church from 11 AM to 1 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McMinnville Medical Emergency Services.
