Betty Carolyn Phillips, age 77 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her home.

Betty was born Tuesday, August 17, 1943 in McMinnville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Alex Holder and the late Rachel Grizzell Holder.

Betty is survived by her:
2 sons - Roy Stanley Phillips Jr. and wife Jill
Rick Phillips and wife Janet
4 grandchildren - Allison Phillips, Alexandria "Axie" Vaughn and husband Joshua, Tyler Phillips, and Caitlyn "Katie" Lance and husband Elijah.
great grandson - Emerson Vaughn
2 brothers - Alex Holder Jr. and wife Carol, Alan Holder and wife Debbie
sister - Marguerete West and husband G.P.
sister-in-law - Elaine Holder
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Karen R. Phillips, and two brothers Danny Holder and Doug Holder.

A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 21st. at Blues Hill Cemetery located at Short Mtn. Rd. McMinnville, Tennessee 37110 with Alan Holder officiating. Interment will be in Blues Hill Cemetery, McMinnville, TN.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Blues Hill Cemetery, Short Mtn. Rd., McMinnville, Tennessee.
