Annie Mahaley Melson, age 83 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Annie was born Tuesday, July 26, 1938 in Summitville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Taylor Jones and the late Sarah Thomas Jones.

Annie is survived by her:
2 daughters Alice Clayton and Linda Barnes
son Wayman Clayton and wife Renee
12 grandchildren
32 great grandchildren
many other family members and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husbands Brice Clayton, Cambrook Payne, and Ralph Melson, and a daughter Ella Adams.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jackie Matheny and Sammy Hale officiating. Interment will be in Shellsford Cemetery, McMinnville, TN.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021,and again Thursday from 8 AM to 1 PM at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee.
